We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Café Cook/All-Rounder to join our Silverdale team.

This is a hands-on kitchen role where you’ll help deliver delicious, consistently high‑quality café food while contributing to a warm and welcoming environment. You’ll be responsible for preparing menu and cabinet items, supporting daily kitchen operations, and working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure an excellent customer experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a range of café-style dishes, cabinet food, and baked items
• Maintaining excellent food presentation and meeting portion, taste, and quality standards
• Supporting menu planning, food prep, and daily kitchen operations
• Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are upheld
• Assisting the team during busy periods and helping maintain a smooth kitchen workflow
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and well‑stocked throughout the day

About you

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a café cook
• Level 4 Cookery qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, portioning, and safe food handling practices
• Reliable, organised, and able to perform well in a fast‑paced café environment
• Positive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• Creative, flexible, and able to work independently when required
