We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and an ability to build effective relationships internally and externally, to join our high performing team!

As part of George Weston Foods Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated British Foods plc, Baking Division NZ is a people, quality, customer and consumer focused FMCG, employing over 500 people across New Zealand and at our 3 Bakery sites.

About the role

In this role you will be the first point of contact for all our customers, handling all enquiries received via phone and emails, and processing a high volume of orders daily.

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for the coordination and resolution of queries with customers and distributors, coordination and processing of daily orders and ad-hoc requests.

You may also process claims, credits and liaise closely with operations, sales, and inventory teams. Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, providing accurate information to resolve issues and sound communication skills will be critical to your success.

This is a full-time position - 40 hours per week, with 5 day rostered shifts between Monday to Saturday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Previous customer services experience
  • Great communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP would be of advantage
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize 
  • Resilience – this is a super-fast paced and fun industry!!
