HSE Business Partner| Commercial & Supply Chain

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, hands-on HSE Business Partner who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make a real difference across our Commercial & Supply Chain teams.

About Us

At Tip Top Bakeries, safety isn’t just a priority—it’s a core value. We’re Australasia’s leading bakery brand, crafting everything from wholesome breads and muffins to crumpets, pies, and snacks. Our iconic names include Tip Top, Big Ben, Dad’s Pies, Ploughman’s Bakery, and more. As part of George Weston Foods (GWF), we’re proud to nourish communities while building a safe, sustainable future.

Why This Role Matters

This isn’t a desk job. It’s about being out there with our people, influencing, coaching, and driving a proactive safety culture every single day. You’ll be the go-to expert for health, safety, and environmental excellence—helping leaders and teams take ownership and embed best practices that keep everyone safe and well.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead from the floor: Partner with site teams and leaders to champion safety where it counts—on the ground.
  • Coach and empower: Build capability and confidence in managing risk and creating a culture of care.
  • Drive real change: Implement practical safety programs and initiatives that make a visible impact.
  • Own compliance: Ensure we meet and exceed HSE standards, legislation, and environmental goals.
  • Problem-solve in real time: Support injury management, audits, and continuous improvement with a hands-on approach.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Diploma in Health & Safety (essential), plus bonus points for Environmental Management or Training & Assessment.
  • 3 years’ experience in HSE roles—ideally in FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics.
  • A natural ability to connect with people, influence leaders, and inspire positive change.
  • Strong knowledge of NZ HSE legislation and risk frameworks.
  • A collaborative, values-driven mindset with a passion for making workplaces safer.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Competitive salary + annual incentive
  • Flexibility to work from home when needed
  • Career development and training opportunities
  • Inclusive, supportive culture where safety and people come first
  • Long service benefits, generous parental leave, and product allowance
  • Paid volunteer days and community partnership programs
