Hygiene Coordinator| Auckland

About the Role
As Hygiene Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our site meets the highest hygiene and food safety standards. Reporting to the Hygiene Business Partner, you will:
- Coordinate and implement hygiene activities and controls across the site.
- Develop and maintain cleaning procedures for key equipment and verify effectiveness.
- Support pest management actions and chemical control processes.
- Coach and train teams on hygiene, GMP practices and food safety compliance.
- Assist with audits, cleaning validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with production, quality and operations teams to maintain certifications (BRC, WSEP, National Programme).
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to influence and engage teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Food Technology/Science or similar science-based qualification (required).
- Experience: 1–2 years in the food industry, preferably with knowledge of baking processes and GMP principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability with a focus on process improvement.
- Action-oriented and resilient in managing change.
