People & Performance Advisor (HR Advisor )

At Tip Top, we’re proud to nourish Kiwi communities with iconic bakery products and we know that our people make the difference. We’re looking for a proactive and capable People & Performance (HR) Advisor to join our team and support the leaders who keep our Commercial Field Teams thriving. 

Reporting to the People & Performance Manager, this role provides trusted Advisory guidance and support for a defined portfolio. You will also provide some centralised support. Leading our Reward and Recognition Programmes and be involved in the implementation and ongoing support for our new HRIS. 

You’ll be the go‑to P&P expert for a wide range of people-focused initiatives, helping leaders lift capability, drive performance, create a safe working environment, and engage their teams to deliver exceptional business results.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging or experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys building relationships with leaders across Aotearoa.

You’ll play a key role in delivering our people agenda by:

  • Providing day-to-day HR support and coaching to Front Line Leaders
  • Building leader capability to create high-performing, engaged teams
  • Champion safety-first culture alongside our HSE team
  • Supporting leadership capability programs and frontline development & performance tools
  • Provide high-quality advice on NZ employment legislation and good faith processes
  • Support investigations, disciplinary matters, and change programmes
  • Partnering with leaders to attract great talent into Field Sales roles
  • Contributing to recruitment process improvements and employer branding initiatives

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is experienced in HR advisory or has held a coordinator-level role within a similar fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeable in NZ employment law, ER processes, and best practice people management
  • Confident building strong relationships and influencing at all levels
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to balance both tactical and strategic work
  • Passionate about developing leaders and supporting people to succeed
  • Comfortable working with leaders across the country
