At Tip Top Bakery, we're seeking reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our manufacturing team across Morning, Afternoon and Night Shifts. Whether you have previous manufacturing experience or are looking for an opportunity to build a long-term career, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced bakery environment where you'll help produce some of New Zealand's favourite bread and bakery products. We're looking for people who value teamwork, take pride in their work, and are committed to building a future with us.

 

What You'll Be Doing

• Setting up, operating and cleaning production machinery and equipment
• Handling food products with care and precision
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Completing production and quality documentation
• Following food safety and quality standards
• Supporting team members to achieve production targets

What You'll Bring

• Ability to lift up to 25kg regularly throughout your shift
• Comfortable lifting items above shoulder height
• Able to work in hot and cold environments
• Experience in manufacturing or production (food industry experience is advantageous)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Good numeracy, reading and writing skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining quality standards
• Experience with HACCP or food safety systems (desirable)
• Forklift and Reach Truck licences (desirable for some roles)
• Full working rights in New Zealand

Shift Opportunities Available

We currently have vacancies across the following shifts:

 

Morning Shift

• Monday to Friday- 5:00AM to 1:30PM, OR
• Monday to Friday- 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Afternoon Shift

• Monday to Friday- 01:00PM to 09:30PM

Night Shift

• Monday to Friday- 9:00PM to 5:30AM

Additional Information

• Five-day operation
• Regular work on most public holidays (excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday)
• Overtime opportunities may be available during peak production periods
