Production Operators- Night Shift| Silverdale


About the Role

We’re looking for Production Operators to join our Night Shift team. This full-time role is hands-on and fast-paced, working with a range of equipment to keep production running safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized bakery environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Setting up, operating and cleaning production machinery and equipment
  • Handling food products with care and precision
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy
  • Completing required production documentation
  • Supporting the wider team where needed
 

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to lift up to 25kg regularly throughout your shift
  • Comfortable lifting items above shoulder height
  • Able to work in hot or cold environments
  • Experience in production or manufacturing (food industry experience is a bonus)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Good numeracy, reading, and writing skills
  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience with food safety systems such as HACCP (desirable)
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure while maintaining quality
  • The right to work in New Zealand
  • Some roles may require a Forklift and Reach Truck license

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday- 21:00pm to 05:30am
  • Five-day operation
  • Regular work on most public holidays except Christmas Day and Easter Friday
