Are you an experienced Warehouse and Distribution leader who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment?

At Tip Top Bakery New Zealand, part of the George Weston Foods (GWF) group, we're looking for a dynamic and people-focused Warehouse & Distribution Manager to join our Auckland team on a 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover contract.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead our Warehouse, Inwards Goods and Distribution teams, ensuring our products are stored, handled and delivered safely, efficiently and on time. You'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing frontline leaders and creating a high-performing culture across the site.

What you'll be responsible for

• Leading the day-to-day Warehouse, Inwards Goods and Distribution operations
• Managing relationships with transport contractors and distribution partners
• Driving inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity and service performance
• Championing health, safety and Chain of Responsibility compliance
• Developing and coaching your direct and indirect reports (approx. 20-30 people)
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives that deliver sustainable business outcomes
• Supporting operational planning, workforce management and budget performance
• Working collaboratively with Supply Chain, Operations and Site Leadership teams to deliver exceptional results.

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Proven experience in warehouse, distribution or supply chain leadership within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
• Strong people leadership skills with a passion for developing teams
• Experience managing transport providers, warehouse operations and inventory processes
• Sound knowledge of health and safety requirements and operational compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering operational efficiencies
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic 24/7 operational environment.
